Spicing up an outfit :)?

hello everyone.i need some help on if i should spice up my graduation dinner outfit.%26amp; if so, how.

the dresscode is casually formal.so i decided to wear a black babydoll top with short sleeves %26amp; a low-cut V neck. it%26#039;s pretty low-cut, so i%26#039;ll be wearing a black tank underneath the top too.black pants to go with it %26amp; heavy silver jewellery like dangly earrings, a chucky bracelet %26amp; a fancy silver necklace with silver 2.5 inch stilettos.so, my outfit is just going to be black %26amp; silver.nothing fancy.just simple.

i have long black wavy hair (upto 3/4 of my back kind of long hair.hehe)....so, should i put my hair up or down?%26amp; should i do something more to spice up my outfit?

thanks everyone for helping! :)

p.s. included pic of black babydoll top.this 1 looks almost exactly like the 1 i bought.hehe

sexy curls would be good

you should add a little color like wear a turquoise tank under it
Reply:I would punch up this outfit with a bright colored handbag. You could also wear a colored cami under the top for some visual interest, instead of just black on black.
Reply:Wear your hair up, and you will look extra elegant. Have a wonderful evening.

The black and silver is a good choice--simple and chic.
Reply:First off: The top is ADORABLE!

Here are a few ways that you can spice it up! (:

1) If goes down low enough maybe you can wear some cute leggings.

2) Instead of black tank with black shirt maybe you can add a little color with a printed tank. My fav would be like a zebra print or something fun like that.

3) It sounds pretty cute already babe. (:

4) I would DEFFINATELY wear your hair curly. It%26#039;ll make you seem bouncy and hopefully a change from your regular day to day wear.

5) Maybe you could use some funky eye shadow to add some color to your wardrobe.

So yeah, basically the best way to spice things up is to add some color to it. Cause sometimes the continuous black and silver can get a little boring.

But as long as you have good jewerly, it seems fine.
Reply:hair: the key thing i%26#039;ve learned is ppl go get all these updos and styles when simple styles look much cuter and don%26#039;t take away from anything! they key is shine, so get a prouduct or spray and use it and keep ur hair simple. i suggest styles lk these:

i think the outfit itself is great.

im not sure if ur one of those %26quot;i like to stand out%26quot; kinda ppl but i am, so, what i would do is go for fun lip stick (or gloss) and cool nailpolish!!

i would rock a bright pink lip stick like Rihanna did:

and go for a really cool shade of dark purple nail polish, this will really make ur silver bracelets pop!!

Reply:Instead of black top under baby doll top , i would wear silver, also i wouldn%26#039;t wear big earrings and big necklace,. If you wear big earrings then don%26#039;t wear necklace. if you want to wear both, wear small earrings and large necklace. the shoes and bracelet sound good. if you decide on silver under instead of black Carrie a black clutch, or silver and black clutch. for your hair, i think this would look good.

These are just suggestions. I%26#039;m sure you will look great.
